About a year ago I signed up for this challenge and didn’t even get started. There was always something more important for me to do. Truthfully I was terrified of the commitment. If I didn’t start I couldn’t drop out and fail.
This time I had a real incentive. I wanted to produce a guide to help those who are afraid of technology, to learn to take their businesses into the 21st century. I needed something that would force me to focus on a goal that was not too long, term as I tend to get bored and/or frustrated when I hit a problem.

Planning is the corner stone to any successful business and taking all areas of your business digital requires careful planning.
Don’t be tempted to go out and buy expensive computers, printers, tablets, phones or sign up for website hosting and website packages until you have spent a great deal of time thinking about what you need, doing the research and coming up with a budget and a timeline. It is so easy to get caught up in the excitement and get overwhelmed by all the advice that you leap in and fall flat on your face.
How can I earn money from my blog?
This question comes up over and over again in various blogging groups that I belong to.
Here is my take on this question.
As soon as you decide you want to monetize your blog you need to change your perspective from being a blogger to being a business owner. This is a completely different ballgame.
